Our History and Future:
The Leatherhead Swans was formed in October 1975 as a registered charity through the endeavours of our founder, the late Vi Hardman MBE. Along with considerable assistance from the British Sports Association for the Disabled and the Leatherhead Council of Sport & Recreation, the Swans is a vital resource that helps enrich the lives of disabled people from the area.
We operate from the Leatherhead Leisure Centre and offer a range of sporting opportunities for people with varying disabilities of any age. Families and friends are all welcome.
Our mission is to provide and assist in the provision of facilities for the recreation, education, sport and other leisure time activities for disabled people primarily in Surrey and where necessary assist with their integration into Society. We meet every Tuesday from 6.30pm-9.15pm at The Leatherhead Leisure Centre
